Wild Rift League China 2022 will be started offline on 19th March 2022. the winner of this league will be qualified for the League of Legends: Wild Rift Global Championship Icon 2022, which is happening in Europe this summer. With several stages in WRL China 2022, many teams will participate in it, and in China, many esports communities have their individual teams and they will compete with their highly intelligent strategies to lead their team in Global Championship Icons 2022.
Chinese Mobile Gaming Community with Wild Rift League Developers had decided to feature a prize pool that no other championship leagues in China had ever got up with. This time the prize pool is bigger than the ongoing LPL: League of Legends Championship which has ¥4.2 Million. But in Wild Rift League China 2022 the prize money is ¥5,000,000 or $784,000 in S1.
Wild Rift League China 2022: Teams and League Format
WRL China 2022 is an offline event venue in Shanghai WRL Stadium. Teams that are registered in the Chinese Gaming Community are participating in WRL China 2022, teams like JD Gaming, Nova Esports, OneChamp, Edward Gaming, J Team, FunPlus Phoenix, KeepBest Gaming, Thundertalk Gaming, WHG Esports, Etc.
League Format:
Stage 1: From March 19th to 10th April 2022
- Single Round Robin
- Played for Best of 3
- The top 6 teams will enter the groups to challenge
- 6 teams will qualify for Breakout Group
Stage 2: Challenger Group ( April 13th – 23rd, 2022)
- Same like stage 1 Single Round Robbin
- Here also match played for Best of 3
- The highest-ranked 4 teams will qualify for Playoffs
- The other 2 teams will qualify to Seat Decider
Seat Decider: On April 24th, 2022
- 2 teams in Breakout Group will challenge in this
- Matches will be played for Best of 5
- Here 2 winner teams will qualify to PlayOffs
PlayOffs: On April 28th to May 15th, 2022
- King of the Hill, only Single Elimination
- Semifinals and Quarterfinals will be held with Best of 3 maths
- Each team should win 2 matches in this series
- Teams who lost in Quarterfinals and Semifinals have a face Icons Last Qualifier
Icons Last Chance Qualifiers: May 13th to 14th, 2022
- Upper Ranks in Best of 7
- Lower Ranks in Best of 5
- Each ranked winner will secure their spot in Play-ins (Icons Global Championship 2022)
